The 10th Anniversary of The Luxury Education Foundation

The Luxury Education Foundation is a public not-for-profit organization that focuses on education programs. An opportunity for students to engage with leaders of the luxury industry, the foundation celebrates their 10th anniversary next year in 2015. The foundation works with Parsons The New School and Columbia Business School students to create case studies on luxury brands. The courses offer an interdisciplinary approach to education and an opportunity to learn more about the industry.

BRANDING THE IDENTITY & LOGO

The project began with rebranding the LEF logo for the specific occasion. The challenge was creating a visual image that retained the original logo and embodied the following new meanings: Reinvent, clean, collaborative movement, craftsmanship, and longevity.

LOCATION & COMPONENTS

The celebration took place in the New School building on Fifth Avenue. The user navigation and visual identity were some of the primary considerations for the exhibition space.  The goal of the event was to showcase ten case studies on ten boards, across the window side. This project included print (invitations, posters) and digital (tablets/ monitors) components. Each represented a luxury brand such as Louis Vuitton and Chanel. The projects celebrated ten years of student collaborative work between Parsons School of Design and Columbia University.
