TEST ONE

I've been testing different types of fashion hardware enhancements such as, zippers & snaps. A self-closing zipper or automatic zipper would require a motor and continuous battery power. So, I decided to start with a simple LED test.

TEST TWO

Jas had helped me getting started with making my own electro magnets. I've tested it with a sown piece of fabric which, contained a permanent magnet. The prototype tests the repulsion and "snapping" of attachment between the two magnets. I gathered several metal rods in four different diameters. After cutting them in the metal shop, I plan to wrap the insulated magnetic wire (copper) 24 AWG and 25AWG. My ideal test result will be a small piece of metal rod made into an electro magnet which, can be sown in as hardware enhancements such as, buttons or snaps in a garment.
